Urge Your Members of Congress to Support the “NO-HATE Act”

We continue to see a rise in the number of hate crimes across the United States.  Please join the Indianapolis JCRC and our national partners at the American Jewish Committee and National Urban League in supporting the passage of the “NO-HATE Act” as part of their Black/Jewish Unity Week.

According to FBI Hate Crime statistics, Jews are the most targeted by religiously motivated hate crimes, while Black Americans are most targeted by racially motivated crimes. In 2019 the FBI counted over 8,400 hate crimes in the year before, but we know the actual number is much higher. We know hate crimes not only affect Jews and Black but many other diverse communities. We are all safer when our vulnerable communities are protected.

Please take action now and urge your members of Congress to support and co-sponsor the legislation in the House and Senate.
