Dear Consul General Ezra:

On behalf of the Greater Indianapolis Jewish Community, we are writing to congratulate the State of Israel on the successful negotiation and signing of the Abraham Accords with the United Arab Emirates and the nation of Bahrain.  This is a momentous occasion that will undoubtedly lead to a more peaceful Middle East.

We applaud the leadership of all the signatory nations for coming together in the interest of long-term stability and cooperation.  It has been heartening to see political, cultural, and educational exchanges already begin to unfold between Israel and its new partners in the Arab World.

Our hope, which we certainly share with you and many Israelis, is that this accord will provide further momentum to the cause of regional peace, and that other Arab nations and governments, including the Palestinian Authority, will take advantage of this moment in history to seek normalized relations with the State of Israel.

We would be grateful if you would share our expression of support and congratulations to Prime Minister Netanyahu on this important occasion.

Shanah Tovah,

Miriam Dant
